He felt as alone as his childhood home was empty. His mother was gone, as was his father, and now it seemed like he was losing his sister besides. Almost no one left. Almost.

Eleon walked out onto the terrace as the rain beat down on his armor. He looked down at the stone tiles as the tap tap tap sound of water hit his helmet. One tile jutted up. I need to fix that, he mused.

Back inside, he mulled over where to go next when he heard a forceful knock at his door. "Captain?" a familiar voice came from the other side. Eleon unlocked the door to find Maro drenched on the other side.

"What is it?" he asked.

"We have a problem."

We really do.

"The lord commander sent me looking for you," Maro continued. "He wants you back at the garrison. Now."

"Is it Elora?" he blurted out.

"Sir? Your sister? No, this has to do with the airship. A manhunt is about to get underway. The captain is running with a renegade Warden. Why? What's happened to Elora?"

"Nothing," Eleon lied. "I'm just not sure where she is. I'm just worried."

"She's a grown woman," Maro said. "She can take care of herself. Let's go."
